It was a beautiful summer day, a day so gorgeous it made the ends of Five's onyx black lips curve up into a laid back grin. The sky was colored a light blue, streaked with puffy white clouds that floated weightlessly above her head. Five, who only stood 18 inches tall, walked gracefully in the streets of the city. Her dark paws landed lightly on the concrete sidewalk, stained with the beautiful colors of spraypaint every once and a while, marked forever by some human being that was now long gone. The young Australian Cattle dog let her smooth pink tongue loll out of the side of her mouth as she walked, bouncing with every light, gentle step that she took. Her dark brown eyes, which sometimes appeared black and other times appeared a light golden, scanned the area, looking around for anything interesting. Today was a good day for Five.
The young female was very proud of herself at the moment. With her hard past, splitting away from her siblings and leaving her parents at a young age, it'd be expected that she would just be a wreck, emotionally and possibly physically. However, Five isn't even close to that. The experience made her stronger, mentally mainly. Now, the determined Five has become even more determined and strong, which got her where she is today: alpha of Kaell. For a long time, she'd been lonely, needing something to be in charge of. She was born to lead, and now she was. It was more work that she had originally expected, but she now had a good amount of dogs following her and her pack.
But that was besides the point. For now, all she needed to worry about was patrolling the territory. Dogs and wolves alike had been known to find their way into Kaell territory, just itching to get a fight. It was a concept Five had never understood, as going to cause trouble with a whole pack of dogs seemed like a bad idea, whether you were bigger or not. For Kaell, strength came in numbers. Claws and teeth were their weapons, and they were used to keep unwelcome guests off their land and kill the prey that fed the pack. Today, things were looking pretty good. No intruders, though there was the slight smell of another dog. It smelled faintly of Kaell, but Five could never be too sure. "Hello," she greeted to nobody in particular, just waiting for a reply.

Ebony auds flicked as he drolled about his day lazily, his blue hues sparkled as he darted with excited barking checking out the strange nhew place he had only known snow and the harshness of the wilderness. His tail curled until the base of his rump flashing the day with a bright stripe of white beneath it, his pads tingled slightly from the warmness of the blacktop against his calloused pads. He stopped and sat down flattening his auds out it had been so quiet since ost of the former pack had cleared out, and he had no one to share his enthusiasim lately he had no one to share anything with so he went wandering the streets.
It was harsh smelling here compared to the wilds of alaska and the ground was much firmer and the air was warm it made him sweat and pant hiding in the shade sometimes. Sometimes though he was chased off when he lingered and had thing thrown at him. He winced at the expirience, so much for this guardian with nothing to guard he was realatively pointless. He flicked an aud now, he had to drink where he could find it and scrounge up food from where he could take it. He perked when he heard a voice ''Hello? Hello?'' he hopped up wagging his tail.
