Spider The wooden boards creaked below as Spider walked down the small dock, his paws thudding slightly with each slow and lazy step. As he made his way down the shabby platform of wood a small breeze blew through the air, causing the wolf’s fur to wave slightly in the cooling blast of wind. Below the dock the dark waters lapped gently against the mossy beams that supported the platform, small ripples of water spreading out whenever the breeze gently glided across the liquid. The sun shone brightly on the water, an almost blinding orb of light centered within the field of blue. Above the great orb was positioned high within the sky, the almost cloudless azure sky around it almost seeming to mirror the water of the marina. As he walked Spider couldn’t help but smile to himself, his head lowered as he slowly plodded along. It was not often that the wolf was able to get this far into the city, usually it was too troublesome with all the dogs running around and making a fuss whenever they even smelled the slightest hint of wolf within their territory. He wasn’t afraid of the mutts, but he had long grown tired of being content with letting them chase him across the winding streets and alleyways, the outcome always the same with Spider leaving the city out of sheer boredom, the dogs being left behind with their chests heaving and their breaths ragged from the chase. Honestly, the wolf had expected the same thing today when he had once more “braved”, or rather lazily ambled into, the city, but was soon pleasantly surprised when he found that either the Kaell pack was otherwise engaged or their patrols were elsewhere, as he had encountered no sight of dog so far that day. And so after some time wandering aimlessly through the paved roadways and trash filled alleys the wolf caught sight of the marina. The day was hot, as was expected during the current season, and at first sight Spider could already feel the welcoming cool water that was spread out before him. And so he was now walking upon one of the many wooden docks that stretched out from the land into the bay. It was not long before Spider reached the end of the dock, his body coming to a stop as he sat down upon the rough platform. Tilting his head, the wolf gazed out across the small expanse of water that was laid out before him, his eyes lighting up and a wide smile crossing his face as the dancing light of the sun spread out across the beckoning water. Another breeze rolled over, Spider lifting up his muzzle and taking in a deep breath of the air, the smell of the fresh wind and marina filling his nose. Of course there was also the unmistakable scent of dog drifting upon the breeze, but it was hard not to smell their scent when within the city, and so the wolf paid no heed to it. Rather, he sat still for several moments, his eyes gazing at the marina with a momentary delight. He had definitely found something to do that day. And then in an instant his sleek body surged forward, the wolf sailing several feet across the water as he launched himself from the dock. Instant relief from the hot air washed across his body as the cool water of the marina engulfed the wolf. With a kick of his legs Spider then rose up, his head soon breaking out from beneath the dark water, small waves of liquid rippling out from the disturbance caused by his entry into the water but a few feet away. Turning his body the wolf began to slowly swim back towards land, a small wake forming in front of his figure as he propelled himself forward. As he neared the edge of the water, Spider caught sight of a small set of wooden steps that rose out from the marina nearby. Swimming towards them, the wolf climbed the steps, eventually standing once more upon the land that surrounded the marina. Taking a few steps forward, Spider then shook his body, thin droplets of water spreading out from his dripping figure, the liquid landing upon the hard ground in small splashes. His body now cooled and still slightly wet, the wolf returned to the dock from where he had leapt. This time instead of jumping once more into the water however he simply stopped and laid his body down upon the wood. Taking in another deep draught of air, Spider crossed his front legs and placed his head upon them, his eyes staring out towards the sparkling water before him. Letting the sun dry his fur as a small puddle of water began to form beneath his body, the wolf remained motionless, a content expression remaining on his face. Good weather and the promise of a day filled with fun at the marina, it seemed like it was going to be a splendid time indeed.

Cierra loped across the amazing sand the water only reaching her ankles before they were pulled up again and stretched to take another long graceful stride. The sun made her look like a dog in the movies running with the humans along the beach. She was happy to get away from all the other dogs and just run.Her orbs were flicking along the beach when the sight of birds up in front of her made her pick up speed and just before she got to them the burst apart like a moving sea of white and brown. She laughed the most beautiful laugh and then was off again running in the water. She was to fixed on running that she did not notice the wolf sitting off to the side. She raced to the docks and then right off, her legs stretched out and her fur waving as she splashed into the water and came up with no trouble. Her dad loved the water like most wolves but her mom hated it and she was happy she got most of her personality and looks from her dad though the dogs could smell the dog part they were still mad at her.She paddled to the shore only to shake off then freeze in her tracks noticing the wolf and lowering herself. She was ready to run if he was going to fight her and she really did not want to fight she would rather the dogs and wolves get along not fight. She looked at him with deep blue and brown eyes and then gave a small shy smile before speaking almost to soft to hear."I-i-i don't want to fight".

~Disease~ Harks laid back against his dial as Spider lead them to an uncomfortable place full of strange noises, things and animals. His ebony pads felt the wood as a strange thing of the docks and the scent of the air to be quite putrid on the nasal cavities. He recoiled bumping into Reaper who seemed to like the place, he curled his lip in repulsion. He felt that those of his blood didn't have to be in a place like this, his milky brown hues narrowed before he split from the other two sticking closer to the begining of the docks. His lips curled in disdain as the sun beat down on his hot grey and black fur beading it with sweat as he shook. He was very Displeased with Spider for bringing them to such a horrid place. Not seeing the values in it. He stifled a Snicker as he heard his brother, 'That's what you get for following blindly.' x-Reaper-x The lumbing abony brute followed Spider he didn't care for him however it seemed he was ok with him for leading them here, Spider had taken off a bit ahead in happiness for some odd reason he tilted his head then shook it they had actually lost sight of him but the smell, even the fish could not cover that. He flicked an aud his milky yellow eyes strained to see as the light blaired in his eyes until he walked off the dock with a yelp spluttering in the water ''Damn mutt!'' as he flailed in the water and suddenly relieved of the heat he blinked blankly in surprise. He sniffed his scent was washed away but all he could smell now was saltiness and the dry crispness of the air, As well as the scent of meat, the fish. His stomach growled and he turned looking around. occ;Is it sad im thinking shark attack?

Spider Spider continued to gaze out across the dark water, the sun reflecting off the liquid and the beams flashing across his eyes. Another blast of air wept across the rippling water, his fur waving in the breeze. His fur was drying rather quickly, the hot weather and clear sky already causing the drops of water to cease falling from his body, though the puddle below his body persisted. Picking up his body slowly, Spider stretched his neck before deciding that he would once more jump into the water, perhaps even staying longer this time to cool himself. A smile on his face from the amusement the day had surprisingly brought him, the wolf began to walk towards the end of the dock when he abruptly stopped as a noise pierced the still air. Turning around with a curious look on his face, Spider moved his head as he looked around. It had sounded as if someone had laughed. Spider wasn’t necessarily afraid that he had been found this deep within Kaell territory, but if indeed any moment one of the mutts would come upon him, it was likely the wolf would have to leave, much to his disappointment. He had finally found something to do, and it seemed as if it might end sooner than he would have liked. And sure enough, it did not take long for Spider to see the dog running across the beach towards the dock where he stood. Her legs gracefully bounded across the sandy shore as her black and white fur ruffled from the breeze that blew from the water. As she neared the wolf noticed a few, oddities, about her. For one, the more he looked the less the dog looked like, well, a dog, and began to take on some appearance as a wolf. Curious, Spider took several steps forward away from the water and towards the shore end of the dock, his head cocked to the side as he continued to gaze at the running dog, who still seemed oblivious to his presence. It was then that her scent came to his nose, carried by the light wind, and to his surprise and continued curiosity Spider found that the dog before him was not a member of the Kaell pack, but rather of the Kalani pack. He had not reservations towards the Kalani as opposed to the other two packs, Spider finding pack life drab in itself, but it was an odd sight to find one so deep within another packs territory, so free spirited when it was a general rule that both the Bloodlily and the Kaell despised the Kalani and their attempts at a “peaceful” life between the dogs and wolves. Then again, as Spider looked on he realized that he was deep within “enemy” territory as well. As he continued to watch the dog, she ran straight up the dock he stood on, her feet drumming against the wood as she bounded up its length. Taking a few steps back and thinking for the slightest of moments that she might actually be attacking him, rather than simply running about, he soon realized this was not the case, and watched as the dog leapt off the dock and landed into the water with a splash, several drops of liquid landing onto Spider as turned. The water rippled around her as she began to swim back towards the shore, still seemingly unaware that only several feet away stood Spider, the wolf beginning to walk down the dock once more towards the shore. Not only was he moving himself to a place where if needed he could flee, (pack dogs were pack dogs, after all, regardless of territory), but Spider was still curious towards the dog, and maybe he could even speak to her, despite the fact this usually was not a good idea. Whether he wanted too or not, Spider wasn’t really given the chance, for as he neared the end of the dock the dog left the water, shaking her pelt clear of the clinging water. But as she did so she turned in the direction of where Spider stood, and immediately froze in place as she lowered her head, making it quite clear that she had both saw the wolf and was rather afraid of him. Stopping himself, Spider listened as the dog quietly mumbled that she didn’t want to fight. Pausing for a moment, the wolf simply regarded her as he stood there. He was not having thoughts about fighting at all, that wasn’t really how Spider did things. But it was a rather pleasant change to finally find a dog who wasn’t obsessed with chasing and/or killing him if given the chance, though the dog was a little too timid for his taste, but Spider could work with this over a violent, deranged mutt. Smiling slightly, Spider took another step towards the dog, before speaking, his tone rather light hearted. ”And why would I want to fight you? We just met!”He was about to continue speaking when he caught movement at the corner of his eyes. Thinking that at last a patrol of Kaell dogs had finally found them, (it was somewhat of a surprise that they hadn’t already), Spider was readying his body to bolt down the beach, perhaps even warning the Kalani dog along the way. But when he trained his gaze upon the dogs, Spider was beyond surprise when he saw that it was instead two wolves, Disease and Reaper he believed they were named. He had met them some time back, he wasn’t really sure when at this point, and it seemed that they had decided to continue following him. His smile faltering slightly, Spider continued to watch them as they approached. It wasn’t just the fact that he was a tad worried he hadn’t been able to notice them following, but since meeting them Spider had always seen them as, sort of depressing in a way, and their nature didn’t agree much with Spider’s philosophy about life. Still, like with the Kalani dog, he had to work with whatever crowd life gave him. And what a crowd it was. As they reached the dock they began to walk down its length, Spider stepping aside to let them pass. Disease seemed quite unhappy to be there, and seemed to regard Spider with some disdain. But Reaper was a tad more approving; at least he wasn’t glaring at them as he walked down the creaking wood. Turning his head back towards the Kalani dog, Spider was inclined to simply let them do their thing, until but a moment later a cry pierced the air and the loud splash of something heavy falling into water resounded across the dock. Quickly spinning around, Spider soon saw Reaper flailing in the water, roaring out curses, though a moment later he seemed more confused than angry. It only took a fraction of a second for Spider to realize what had happened; Reaper had walked blindly off the dock into the water. Sitting down upon the dock Spider burst out laughing, his merriment increased at the brilliant spectacle before him. He didn’t even have to do anything and already things were going wonderfully! Quieting down a moment later, Spider again faced the Kalani dog, leaving behind a rather smug looking Disease, though a large smile remained on Spider’s face as he did so. Leaping off the dock Spider landed upon the hot yet soft sand of the shore, moving towards the dog before him as he did so. Positioning himself on the side of the Kalani member, the wolf then stopped, moving his body so he fully faced the dog in front of him, as well as the dock and water that held the other two wolves with them. He watched the dog as he spoke, his voice reflecting his good mood. ”Don’t worry about those two over there, as you can see you should be more afraid about the water than them.” Chuckling slightly at his words, he then continued. ”But tell me, what is a Kalani dog doing so far from her pack? Sadly these days I don’t get as nice of a crowd as this, and I don’t believe I’ve ever had to pleasure of meeting you before.” Continuing to smile, Spider then sat down upon the sand, awaiting a response. Shifting his eyes towards the wolves by the dock, he couldn’t help but laugh under his breath once more. Maybe they weren’t so bad after all, even if the amusement wasn’t intentional on their part.

Cierra lifter her head as the wind blew her soft fur around. The smell of the salty sea made her feel happy and the many smells of the animals made her feel free. The sand made her stick out and look like a frozen angel stuck on earth because she was spotted. She watched the wolf move around the wind also picking up his dark cote his eyes seemed to be burning into her and hers found his not with fear but love, happiness, life, hope, strength. She was about to bolt when he spoke, asking why he would want to fight someone he just met.Her head came up now relaxing herself, she looked more like a wolf now then ever as she smiled. The splash of water made her look over and laugh a short sweet laugh. When the wolf moved closer her eyes flicked back to him but she did not move the only thing giving the dog part away was the smell she would always carry and the cote of her mother. She watched as he came near a little taken back at how he treated her like a friend not an anime like most dogs. When he told her not to worry about the other wolves and how she should be more worried about the water she giggled. Then the question she knew would be asked she smiled though just a few hours ago she was chased away from some members of her pack for going into wolf territory,"Well I was in the wolf territory hunting and when i got back they were yelling at me even when i hurt myself taking down a deer for the pack",She looked away and down showing a few cuts from the little fight"They took the deer and told me if i wanted to run with the wolves i should and that they had no need for me,so i just came here i really had no clue where to go since really none of the packs like me that much".She looked back up at him not noticing how pathetic she sounded till saying it out loud but she really never wanted to upset any of the dogs or wolves she was around. The waves on the shore crashed sending little ripples of water up to her paws allowing it to cool her some but also for her to just feel the sand like her and her father did when she was young and he was alive.
