Oahu wondered through the labyrinth of pews. While the humans were here the place would have been a nightmare for a stray like him but now that they were all gone, it was heaven. A slim amount of dogs stepped foot into the place, some say it reminded them of their owners, some say that it is just too eerie. The mutt didn't believe either, to him the cathedral was paradise.
The scout wandered up some stairs to his personal hiding place. It wasn't really place to hide for him but more of a place to stay. Although he is a pack dog and his life is devoted to the pack, it was nice to get away. So he climbed up the flight and up into the second floor. That was where the bell tower lay. The rusty bell used to make the most beautiful of melodies when the humans here. That was something that he had come to miss about them, the constant food and the music.
Oahu strutted over to one of the openings. The humans used it to see the bell but the stray used it for a window, no more no less. So he placed both of his front paws on the ledge and peered over the surface. A world that had been so beautiful had crumbled. He thought he would never see the day where he missed the sight of a human. It was jarring to him but he moved on.

>>MARKUS>>
Fresh blood trailed behind the staggering wolf. The scent was so strong it filled the air with it's putrid smell. It had been so long since Markus had smelt anything, felt anything. All he knew was pain. Where was he anyway? His vision was so blurred and distorted that he had no idea where exactly he was going. All he knew was that he had to keep moving, soon another wolf would find him and bring him back to the den. His tender back leg stung with another tremor of pain as he slumped forward another step. A growl erupted from his throat, I'm so weak... It bothered him to no end. How could he have let this happen? His fur stood on end as he continued to roll the thoughts back and forth in his mind.
The ground became hard under his paws, that was the only thing he could feel. The pain was draining away his senses, the blood was filling his nostrils. His ears swiveled madly, trying to make sense of any sound that he happened to pick up. Suddenly the large wolf fell forward and whimpered from the pain in his side that flared up like his blood had been replaced with liquid fire. “You old fool!” He chided to himself as he pushed his weight onto his two front legs in an attempt to get up. The ground was so hard, so cold. He didn't recognize it at all. If only he could see, then he could figure out where the hell he was. Great heavens above, this is irritating. He was beginning to wear himself out from trying to get up. Finally he managed to lift himself part way up, the dust underneath his paws beginning to slip. He swayed under his own weight as he tried even harder to get a grip on the cobblestones underneath his claws. It feels like I'm on rock. He finally recognized the feeling.
His vision flickered from light to dark, he could begin to make out large structures all around him. It looked to him like the waterfall and caves that the Bloodlily made their den. His perception was so off though, but he didn't even consider that. There were things around him, trees is what he assumed them to be. He wrinkle his nose as he looked from side to side, trying so desperately to regain his vision. He snorted discontentedly, then began his painful gait towards nowhere once again. He would look strong, his head and tail rising up as he continued onward. He brushed by one of the tall structures, the scratchy surface ruffling the side of his flank and sending a small shiver of pain run down his side. The feeling of the rocks was strange, he failed to recognize it once again. He turned slightly and aimed himself towards a rather large structure, believing that it was a cave.
His claws clacked against the wooden floor of the church, a sound that he did not pick up no matter how hard he tried to hear. His vision flickered again and he felt himself loose control of himself. Everything went black and the last thing he felt was himself falling onto the hard ground again, only this time he couldn't feel anything. A loud thud resounded across the empty halls of the church, alerting any mice near by of his presence. His body lay there on the ground, a pool of blood still trickling down into a pool around the gash on his side and leg. If only he knew that he had just walked himself and then fainted in the middle of Kaell pack.
