The following are questions that have been posted on our questions board and which might be common inquires that new members have when joining The Forgotten. Please look below if you have doubts about something on the site, and if it’s not already answered here feel free to post in the board with your question or PM a staff member. Thank you.
Question: Where do I post my dog/wolf application?
Answer: First go to the character template and fill this out to create your character. After doing so head over to the creation board and create a new thread with your application. The Staff will then review it, and either inform you of modifications that need to be made, or if no issues are present, then the Staff will accept your character and you can start roleplaying on The Forgotten!
Question: Can my canine be in more than one thread at a time?
Answer: Yes, of course. This site follows something people call “liquid time”, basically your character can be in as many threads as you want, granted you can stay active in them of course. In fact we encourage this! The more threads you have at one time, if you can handle them, the more character interaction you have between members, and if one thread becomes inactive you aren’t left dry.
Question: What are the rules for times when character fighting occurs?
Answer: With tensions between packs growing fights are bound to break out between characters. If you and another member wish to have a fight, you can find the rules for battle in the rules thread. Generally we highly discourage any form of “god modding” and prefer battles that are more realistic to what a pair of canines could physically do in such a situation.
Question: Is there an IC chat-box?
Answer: The Forgotten does not have an IC chat-box, and would prefer members to roleplay in threads. Our post count is not very strict, so the need for something such as an IC chat-box isn’t very high.
Question: How does mating and pups work on The Forgotten?
Answer: If two members wish for their characters to get together and have pups they are more than welcome too! The rules for this can be found in the rules thread. Overall the members are allowed to decide the details of their pups and the Staff only wishes that content is kept in line with Proboards, (PG-13 only), and that some character development has gone into the relationship, and not just pulling a Romeo and Juliet, (we all know what happened to them.)
Question: What are the pack boundaries?
Answer: Generally the Kaell pack controls the city, the Bloodlily the wilds, and the Kalani have the cave systems. However, on each roleplay board is displayed the three pack names. Two of them should be crossed off, and the third one is the pack that currently controls this territory.
